don't rfork(RFNOTEG) because then you lose
...
the ability to read from the console. damn.
also, handle case where child exits before
fork returns in parent. have to record that
sigchld was seen and then run the handler later.

add some annoying lock loop prints -- let's see

if they ever fire.
also fix race in delaystack. it was actually happening!
that just goes to show that while i can reason very well
about what can and cannot happen, i have no intuition
at all for how likely they are.
